Such a weird thing is this 'Turing Test'... Named after Alan Turing, the inventor of the test that finds difference between human and computer (machine, as it was stated at the beginning),
the Turing Test, is the headline on popular searches in the past few weeks. So far no computer have passed the test - which means that the people were not fooled by the computers. Ok, that is not surprising,
but there are dating sites were people don't know that they actually are speaking with bots (I'm pretty sure that some of them are satisfied with that). Maybe the people who found out that they are talking with some "hot" computers, put these computers on the wall of shame. This is not a surprize too. I understand that the computers knows only what are told to know, but as long as people consider themselves
"dumb" and acts so, then who are these people who says that the computers have failed the Turing Test. And the proof is those stupid warnings on packaging:
"Caution: The contents of this bottle should not be fed to fish." -- On a bottle of shampoo for dogs.
"Do not use while sleeping." -- On a hair dryer.
"Do not eat toner." -- On a toner cartridge for a laser printer.
"For use by trained personnel only." -- On a can of air freshener.
"Keep out of reach of children and teenagers." -- On a can of air freshener.
"Warning: has been found to cause cancer in laboratory mice." -- On a box of rat poison.
